The photos above are from the Solar Eclipse on April 8th, 2024. This view is from North Carolina, which was slightly East of the “Path of Totality”. Luckily during the peak of the eclipse, we had some clouds roll in, which helped make it easier to see this magnificent event. In my opinion, it also made for some spectacular photo opportunities as well. The kids watched in awe as the moon was passing by. The younger kids didn’t fully understand what was happening and were asking questions. All in all, a great experience and fun time to view a natural event and share it with loved ones. We all love being outside, and Mother Nature provided us with the show today.
